Received intent to foreclose for assessments in older neighborhood, established 1968.?
CCR's do not give the right to lien or mandate dues or assessments. Never paid dues, been here 16 years, we have new board on a self proclaimed HOA not even mentioned in my CCR's and they have filed lien on my home. My CCR's recognize another HOA and they do not want anything to do with this other group, but won't step in and help. They have hired an attorney to file the liens, but I have talked to 4 attorneys and they all say it is wrong, but I still have to sue or pay. They filed 24 liens on 24 properties altogether. Can I go after them for racketeering?? We told them they can't do this, they told me they know they can't but just want to scare people to make them pay their "dues",
