I was on a trip which I had won and I felt so healthy and normal, but when I am back home in a 1 bedroom apartment I share with my parents I feel sick -- literally flu-ish-- and weak all the time and can't go outside the house (and feel anxious when I do). Opinion of what I should do about college?

So I am a rising 11th grader who is very passionate about cooking. I have been working in restaurants for 2 years and have done close to 15 catering jobs this past 6 months. My mom says she wants me to have a college education but personally I know that I am going to be doing something back in the kitchen so i do not think that I need English, math, etc because I am already going to the best High School in Mississippi with pretty good grades. For breakfast I eat cheerios...for lunch I eat a turkey sandwich on wheat bread..and I eat a luin cuisine for dinner...and usually between lunch and dinner I have an apple as a snack..I work out every day...whether its running on the tredmill or walking for an hour..most of the time i do both..i figured i should have a cheat day every two weeks...Is this a good plan???? It depends on my mood. I've listened for hours while driving to an oldies station from Canada. Brian McKnight's album Anytime, if I'm reflective. If my trip was during the day and I needed energy I'd listen to Fool on the Hill, Brazil 66. I spent many years traveling for 8 hrs to get to daughter's home on some weekends and found that if I had no music, I'd arrive better able to sleep and less nervous. I'd pick up a jazz station close to her home and it was soothing.

My store is irritating that every time I go to the store there are less and less vegetables available because we are going through a really bad e.coli outbreak... even the pre-packed salads the only ones left were the wilted ones. Trying to create a growth loop in java?

In java, I'm completing a class for a game that creates circles and makes them grow at a certain rate until they reach their maximum radius and pop, unless the user clicks on the circle to pop it themselves. the rest of the program is written, however the class i need to write is the one which creates the circles and defines the growth amount. I have gotten through creating circle based on given points and radii, with a grow method that states the current radius becomes the starting radius + growth amount. however, I can't figure out how to loop the circle back to the grow method IF the current radius hasn't reached its given pop radius. I was required to create a boolean method that answers the question "has the circle popped?". Do i need to create a loop within this method or declare it somewhere else? how do i return to the grow method if it hasn't popped? I'm not sure about the actual time increments, I can play with that after i get the program running, i just need to get the growth function working (i can start using an increment of 1000ms).

Why arent I losing weight?

Im 14 and short. Like 5'1". i use to weigh 130 pounds when i was 12 but know im 102. The lowest ive ever been is 96 and that was in about january. I wouldnt say im thin i would say im about average but im trying to loose more fat and get more defined around my stomach and chest area. I run for 50 minutes EVERY DAY. occasionally ill skip running for a day. I also workout regularly like 4 or 5 times a week. Im also not too far into puberty so im assuming that might have to do with it a little? My diet usually consists of grilled chicken, turkey breast, lean cuisines, peanut butter sandwich (the bread i use is wheat, 45 calories per slice and i barely put any peanut butter on the bread) and thats about it. I also eat subway turkey sandwiches and chick fil-a chargrilled chicken sandwich. I drink propel zero and occasionally diet soda. Im not really seeing any results in the mirror so i wouldnt say im staying neutral by gaining muscle and loosing fat because it sure doesnt seem like it.

Help me with this diet plan, please?

I'm a cheerleader and we run a mile/take gymnastics once a week. I know I need to up my exercise. I'm 5'1, 147 pounds ( premenstrual bloat ), and would really like to lose about 20 pounds. For breakfast, I usually eat a bowl of Special K cereal, and 3 strips of turkey bacon. Lunch, Dinner, and snacks is where I usually mess up. For a snack, I consumed about 8 vanilla wafers, Nutella spread, and a glass of milk. ( Unhealthy, I know. ) Lunch, I usually eat a sandwich, but I don't think peanut butter and banana is that healthy.. even if the peanut butter is reduced fat ( containing more sugar nevertheless ). For dinner, I either plan on having a grilled chicken salad, grilled chicken sandwich, homemade pizza, chef boyardee pizza kit, or a lean cuisine. If anyone can help me improve my diet plan and give me some insight on how to lose it, I would really appreciate it. I have the rest of June and July before I would like to reach my goal. The phone at work seemed to "lock up". It said all the lines were in use when they weren't. We turned off our power and and turned on again thinking the phones just needed to be reset. I don't know if anyone is like this, but I'm so ultra sensitive that I do not want to have friends and this appears to others that I don't care about anybody. The reason I don't want friends is because I know I'll avoid them when they start talking about hard times in their lives and feelings of sadness. This is not because I don't care about them and I don't want to help them, but because this will make me so affected that their own misfortunes would attach themselves to me and I'll probably feel even worse than them; of course avoiding them at these times would make me look cold-hearted. In reality, I love helping and donating to people at the impersonal level. Also, whenever I'm watching a sad movie with someone, I can feel myself about to cry as my shoulders start to shake when I try to hold it in. Sometimes when I do this, I need to laugh to relieve myself because I know if I let tears come down, they won't stop. If a third party would observe this, it'll look like I'm laughing at the sad situation in the movie. To make my sensitivity even more apparent, I sometimes feel like weeping when I peruse online debating boards and I see people call each other names and be cruel to each other. When I refuse to partake in these kind of conversations, I suppose it'll seem like I couldn't care less, but really, I would be running away in fear of getting hurt myself while viewing others being verbally abused. To top it of, I'm struggling months later to forgive my friend for declaring ending his friendship with me because I didn't stay online to help him with something. He said he still loves me as a friend and we're past that, but now whenever I talk to him I think of him demonstrating his ability to just drop me like I'm nothing to him and it still hurts. I hate to say this, but I don't think I like him as much as I did before this happened.

Should I tell my dying father...?

I'm starting to question myself for what I have done and I have no idea what I should do. My father and I have had a great relationship forever. We were devastated when my mother died of ovarian cancer(RIP Mom). We eventually got over it as a family and my father remarried to my aunt. I didn't like my the idea at first because I wouldn't want to see my father with anyone else besides my mother and the awkwardness of my aunt becoming my new step mom but I saw how happy he was with her so I eventually accepted it and we grew quite close. Things were going great for them and eventually their 3rd anniversary came around. My sister and I hosted a party for them at a local venue to celebrate the occasion. It was late a party and I made the mistake of getting drunk, so did my Aunt and dad. They ended up argueing about paying for the party, which was a gift from me and my sister, and my dad drove away with my aunt still on at the party. I offered to drive her home because I didn't want anything to happen to her. We drove for awhile when all of a sudden my aunt started hitting on me telling me I looked like my father and eventually she made the move on me by pulling me close and kissing me on the mouth. Because I was drunk, I gave in and we eventually had sex. Weeks later my father was diagnosed with lung cancer and just lately the battle he bravely fought against it was declared a losing cause by doctors. He has been given a less than a month to live. Around this time my aunt frantically called me on the phone saying she was pregnant. She also told me that the it was mine because around the time of the pregnancy my father and her did not have sex because they were constantly argueing. She has not told him about any of this, only that she is pregnant. He thinks it is his and he has been talking about how I'm getting a little baby sister. I don't know what to do. My aunt keeps lying to him saying its his. What do I do, do I tell him the truth, do i let him think its his and let him rest easy, what do i tell my family about this, do I abort this incestial child, is their any legal complications with this. We did the 5 course dinner with the wine pairings. My fiance is not a huge fan of white wines so they paired his dishes with red wines. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very nice as well and service was impeccable. I would definitely go here again and suggest that everyone go if they want a nice elegant dinner in Baltimore if your looking to splash the cash!

How can I lose weight while being broke?

I am trying to lose weight. I'm 5'5" 155lbs. I went a period of my life when I hardly ate anything (I am a stress anorexic so when I stress I forget to eat) so now my metabolism SUCKS! I've been going to the gym and working out at least 30 minutes a day to try and help. I just recently got surgery on my heart so working out is kind of new to me because I was never allowed to do a lot of physical activity before so I'm learning how to do things, like run, without hurting myself. My issue is eating. I don't know how to cook and frankly I don't have time (Work 45-50 a week and full time at college) and on top of that I'm flat broke. I've been told to try meal plans like nutrisystem that way I don't have to cook but they are way too expensive plus I tried nutrisystem when they had a 50% off deal and I couldn't stand it (Tasted like powder). Does anyone have any suggestions to a premade or easy to cook meals (canned or not is fine)? I'm not eating enough calories now because I don't know how to cook and my doctor said thats the reason I'm still gaining weight. I love noodles so I eat a lot of spaghetti but I know thats not good for me, and I try to eat more salad but it goes bad sooo quickly. I've thought about just doing the walmart brand of lean cuisine (its only about $1.20 a box) and then ramen for dinner but if anyone has any suggestions that would be great. Thanks! I've already switched to just drinking sink water to save money and that has helped me lose about 5lbs but I've got 15 more I need to lose.
